This resource provides useful context for the written exam for Spanish (Como Agua para Chocolate, Laura Esquivel).
I have also included a comparison of the novel to the Mexican Civil War, which compares the characters to important historical figures. This is a perfect and unique way to add in and analyse the social and historical context which will help to boost grades even more!
This features ideas and key examples of information that’s relevant and useful for both the speaking and writing exams. It’s perfect for revision or teaching as it presents the ideas and examples from the Hispanic world that go above and beyond what can be found in the textbook in an accessible and easy-to-read way.
I have found it very useful, as have my classmates and my teacher!
This resource provides summaries and ideas of each of the 6 topics and 12 sub-themes covered in year 1 Spanish. It’s great for revision and teaching purposes as it provides Spanish-speaking examples that go above and beyond what can be found in the text book, displaying it all in a concise and accessible format.
It also features useful vocabulary for both the speaking and written exams.
These powerpoints were made by me during my A Level Spanish studies; they summarise key facts, figures and discussion points relating to each of the topics and sub-themes which will help when it comes to studying and revising for the speaking exam, as well as vocabulary for the written exams.
They include all of the year one and year two topics, as well as useful vocab that’s either listed or used within each slide. It’s set out in an easy-to-use order to avoid confusion and has extra information (e.g. examples of events in the Spanish-speaking world which are relevant to each sub-theme and can be very impressive in the exam) and is handy for finding what you’re looking for.
My teacher will be using these to support her next class, I am sure it will be very helpful!
